There are two types of fig...Two.. the female fig smyrna, is the Good fig.....the male fig the caprice, is Not edible, it is awful. One good fig.... one bad fig..... God himself through His prophet Jeremiah chapter 24 goes into great detail as to the two kinds of figs.... In Mark 11:14 Jesus curses a fig tree whose leaves were visible but the fruit was not yet "Ready"....the next day the tree was dried up fat the roots....The Apostles brought this to the attention of Jesus and Jesus replied "have faith in God"..and in v23 goes on to say much more....One needs to have some understanding of the manuscripts....and one can do that by having a strongs concordance and research some of the words...to get a greater understanding of what is being said... Skipper in short...The coming to pass of the the parable of the fig tree Has only happened now ..in this generation... Remember the subjcet matter.....what would be the signs of the "Return of Jesus"....Jesus gave 7 signs in those chapters of His return.....With a sincere study we know that those times draw nigh..very nigh...
