(NEWSER) – Apple says Siri isn’t trying to hide abortion clinics or places to buy birth control from users, characterizing its apparent inability to find reproductive health services as a glitch, and noting that the voice-activated search software is still technically in beta testing. “While it can find a lot, it doesn’t always find what you want,” an Apple spokeswoman tells the New York Times. “These are not intentional omissions meant to offend anyone. It simply means that as we bring Siri from beta to a final product, we find places where we can do better.”
