As a disabled vet I'm very familiar with government health care. While I'm very lucky in my area with the clinic and hospital that is almost the exception rather then the rule. As the saying goes, there are 2 ways to give your life for your country, go to war or go to a VA hospital. Everyone should spend some time in VA health care before deciding that is what they want for everyone.
