Hello EP, <<Why wouldn't we see the same situation as DRAMs, where Japan and Korea built too many DRAM factories, and sank prices ?>>

I think the shops and marts will be bought out on the cheap by disintermediators, as it is an obvious and uncomplicated move, and can be done by just about any and every one.

It is relatively easier for any and all to duplicate a DRAM fab than to replicate an entire consumer product manufacturing universe.

I am aware of at least three large aggregation efforts out of China in Brazil, Russia and S.Africa. Soon the surge will impact other space, of that I am fairly sure. The attractiveness of the N. American markets is fairly obvious and route to dominance by any and all quite apparent. It will only take some money and organization skills, neither exactly in short supply in this small universe of ours.

Chugs, Jay
