Roger, I think both will be true for VVUS: Muse will pay off and they will be a good short. VVUS has nothing except a delivery system and a head start (no pun intended). The head start will let VVUS make some money, and the market will get excited. Then, another, superior/ cheaper substitute will appear, and VVUS will have little to fall back on. That will be the time to short again. The trick will be knowing when another company is going to eat their lunch.
