Well! While we wait for the market to find direction here is my attempt at some humor. Here we go!

The top 10 reasons why a first time Macintosh buyer might experience contempt for his computer!

10> He finds out that to buy the computer he wants he is going to have to argue extensively with a salesman fixated on cow boxes and 'Intel Inside' stickers.

9> He finds out he can't custom bundle his computer purchase with expensive options since they are already included.

8> He finds out that the operating system installed on his new computer is not the latest one.

7> He finds out that it is going to take him a week without pay to explore all the software bundled with his new computer.

6> He finds out that all that glitzy expensive software on the store shelf is for that other type computer.

5> He finds out the computer he just bought has just been discontinued with the release of the newer cheaper models with faster processors.

4> He finds out that the bundled Zip Drive means he'll never use that box of 20 floppies the salesman talked him into.

3> He finds out that heart warming musical tone announces to every kid in the house that he is turning the computer on.

2> He finds out that the plentiful software the salesman spoke of is only available through mail order discount houses or time consuming free download.

AND THE NUMBER ONE REASON!
1> He finds out that 'nobody cares' that his computer IS faster and easier to use that any Wintel machine out there.
