Killed with box cutters? Yes, death is effective. But how could this be allowed to happen? I will refrain from focusing on the pilots in future posts. But death by box cutters? Are you sure about this?

My friend was mugged once. This person had a really intimidating knife pointed at him, a switchblade. He wanted my friend;s money. So my friend surprised him by hitting him hard. The person dropped his knife and touched his now bleeding face with broken bones. My friend took advantage of this time to run. He did an unpredictable and brave action that saved him allot of trouble if not his life.

I think we all are made weak and inadequate as we wade in our fears. This is human nature. Anger is IMO another disabling place to be. But I think we need to help each other mature in our understanding how each of our actions effect other peoples lives, including our own of course. In this way we can rise beyong our fears and anger and behave in a contructive fashion that can help to prevent future tragedies from happening.
