JAM, the cash-starved current ratio is pretty well explained by last quarter's need to add several flocks of modems (network expansion) to meet the $19.95 flat-rate demand. I noticed the other day that Time-Warner and USWest announced a wide bandwidth on-line survice. Both have a foot in the cable business and Time-Warner has plenty of content, second only to Disney. If TW-USW are starting a network from scratch to sell to high-bandwidth cable companies, where does that leave AOL down the road with their 600,000 analog modems creaking away at max 56k on phone lines?
Best
