That is probably in the best interest of George W Bush.

Iraq was not an imminent threat to us or Israel. For Israel, Iran is the real threat. They are actively seeking an WMD program (most likely nuclear).

George Bush's hands are now tied wrt dealing with Iran. In my opinion, he had one bullit, and he shot the wrong country.

It will be nearly impossible for him to do to Iran (premption) what he did to Iraq.

What Bush should have done with Iraq is what he is now doing with North Korea. He is working with Russia, China, Japan, South Korea and others in the area to disarm NK. North Korea is a much more dangerous threat to us in that they could sell WMD or WMD technology to AQ.

Iran is a real threat to Israel, but they are no threat to us. They know that we could level Them (Iran) if they provoked us.

But, for Israel, that is a different story.

Going to war with Iraq in the way we did was a real mistake for us - and probably a much bigger mistake for Israel.

By not being able to say that going to war with Iraq was a huge mistake - he has seriously jeopardized his chances for re-election. Otherwise, it would have been a slam dunk.

That is also the reason, Karl Rove is (if not directly involved - at least tacitly) allowing the Swiftboat digression.

Iran will now have to be dealt with "sensitivity".
