Thanks for the explanation and going through your thought process. Very nice trade on going short last week and you do make a compelling point about bonds and equities selling off together. I havent analyzed the bonds/equity relationship at a detailed level.

You could be right and we could see a sell-off; however I find that risk has been towards the upside when we dont see a 2-3% drop in one day. Way too many people get short too late and we have had one short squeeze after another. I am not even sure I want to catch the short side of the market any longer. Its just not been as profitable as waiting for a nice dip to go long.

How are you measuring sentiment? Why do you think sentiment is bullish? I am polling twitter on a down day for a very un-scientific method of measuring sentiment. And all I see are bearish targets. CNN greed and fear index is slightly on the fear side but could go to extreme fear, will wait and see.

Only other thing I think is worth paying attention to is the RSI, The daily RSI was showing divergences as we made new highs, RSI is now at a level where we "could" resume the trend.
