Malaysia Fund

I called them up and the salesperson didn't seem to
know the details of how the NAV is calculated
(with regards to whether they use the higher foreign
price or the lower local price).

They gave me another telephone # 1-800-422-6464x7200
to call. I tried it and got a voice mail. I haven't
heard back yet, but I'll let you know what I find out.

With regards to shorting the Thai/Malaysian funds
(Why not Indonesia Fund (IF) as well?), I might wait
until I see the premiums trending down (from week-to-week)
before I try this arbitrage approach. I'm not much for
technical analysis, and I may miss out entirely on the
arbitrage opportunity. However, I'm a bit worried about
the risks of shorting, so I'd like to keep my shorts
profitable and short (in time).

Right now, I'm wondering whether we might have these
premiums persist or increase for some time. Although
today it looks like TTF is significantly lagging the
Thai market.

Thanks all for your advice!
