Larry, I am still around. Just trying to be outdoors. I don't want to
miss the two days of Summer that may suddenly appear. Also,
busy with other things.

Seems like panic, paranoia, and pessimism has engulfed the masses !
To those that are relying on Merrill Lynch forecasts for next year,
I have only one thing to say - Have you checked their dismal
record ?

Many (if not all) these brokerage houses use a simple projection
to get the new numbers. This way of doing financial analysis has
a special name (I forget it now). It works reasonably well for the
short term (i.e. a quarter). Beyond that, forget it. That is the
reason why the estimates are very far off the mark the farther
you go into the future.

I am waiting for the quarterly results to come out. Then I will
decide whether I should be bullish or mega-bullish. The quarterly
results will confirm/deny many of my assumptions and I will
need to get a good look at it.

For a value based investor like me, buying opportunity is best
when everyone is bearish.

I have created my first Web page (this will soon have my first
Java program - to do simulation analysis). I am still adding to
it. It is intended to be a knowledge base for Micron investors.
