I have followed EMC Corp. for about a year, and I live in Mass. where the
company is based. The Boston Business Journal and the Boston Globe site EMC
as one of the biggest growth companies in Massachusetts, and in an annual report
put out by the Globe last year, EMC topped the list.

I must say, however, that this is a discouraging stock to hold. I plan to hold
it from 18 to 28 or so, so you can see that I am bullish on the stock. However,
I have given myself a time horizon of at least six months. I think that the
stock may be around 23 by May/June (based on the broader market, and based on
future earnings). It seems to me that EMC does best in a flat broader market, or
a sideways broader market. Once the DOW stocks top off, growth companies and the
money from big mutual funds and institutions will come back into EMC. Keep the faith.
