Does disapproving of policies of Bush mean that you are on "the left" and therefore someone who supports Mugabe? I really don't think so. Pat Buchanan is probably as right wing as they come in many senses, and he disagrees with Bush in many ways, as you can see. In fact, leaping to such conclusions makes one think that being unsupportive of Bush's foreign adventures is "politically incorrect", so to speak -- do so at your own risk of being attacked as being a Mugabe lover or something. I would not call myself left wing, I absolutely do not support Mugabe and would not invest in Zimbabwe. On the other hand, what Bush does is of global significance and what Mugabe does is not of global significance, however abusive he might be in his post. If we had lots of Silicon Investors who lived in Zimbabwe and supported Mugabe when he did all sorts of damaging and unwise things, it would be appropriate for us to express out opinions in the course of our postings, particularly if it related to the gold market. Maybe they would create a "We Have a Right to Expropriate Your Property White Guys Gold and Resource Stock Discussion Group", but hopefully they wouldn't send a challenge to "the right" and infer that anyone who disagreed with them is a Bush lover.
