Hello Wade,

Thanks for your interest in the bags. You are quite correct, browning and crisping only occurs at above about 450 F. Any liquid will keep the temperature below such. The bag lining itself reaches about 475-500 F but only will brown and crisp the food product in contact with this surface. Most of the recipes and all of the instructions in our Cook book describe the function and need to keep close contact between the food and the bag. However, some foods such as multiple numbers of chicken wings do not make close contact.

The product has been sold with repeat orders with a rack and detailed instructions AND cook book. We also have sold a cooking video.

We routinely receive letters of thanks for this product, but we also realize there are some foods which do well and others which do not primarily due to the nature of microwave heating and the shape and composition of the food.
