I don't think Focs is going to rocket right away, but I do think they are in the right business at the right time which = possibility. The real time sensing devices they sell will be a component in huge demand. The question is who is their competition and if their competition is good can they meet demand. This Global Warming problem is just going to gain more momentum. More and more scientific communities are climbing on board, As they tell it, I would not want to own propety in Florida or along the Coast. This kind of reminds me of the CFC problem, at first there was a large body of skeptics then there were the dire economic impact warnings. After all the BS cleared folks realized they better do something quick. The Greenhouse gas/global warming issue is now at the latter end. Nobody really seems to be arguing the sceintific evidence any longer, it's more the economic impact and pointing fingers. Bottom line, Nobody foresaw the year 2000 problem in computers, but now everyone is shaking. Accordingly, at the current rate of VOC emissions and the enviornmental impact studies showing a much smaller window, people are (and rightly so) becoming quite concerned. There are Countries, States that will, and have, taken action regardless of whether a treaty is signed right away. These progressive moves will move industry, period. Not many, if any, companies are wiling to give up markets such as Europe, California, New York. When companies change they normally adopt the entire change company wide. Now Focs' product is a real important component, since it detects VOC emissions in real time, allowing for immediate corrective measures to be taken.
I do follow NCTI, they're also in a market that is definetly going to explode, but they also are still in a Niche market which requires more development. I liken Noise pollution to Herpes, definitely a concern but Global Warming is AIDS, the much more deadly problem.
Focs, however IMO is to good to pass up now, at this price. They're primed to supply a critically needed product. |
