It's an inherent issue with eliminating the bezel around the touchscreen like older iPhones used to have. Only solution I can see it getting a larger case for the phone that sticks out more on the sides, so your fingers are less likely to touch the screen by accident. I've gotten used to doing that on occasion and I prefer the thinner case I use, so it's a tradeoff.
