Must reads this morning: nysun.com , which raises new questions about Kerry's separation from the Navy. The document, which is apparently authentic as released by the Kerry campaign, suggests that the Navy was investigating Kerry's actions during and after the war before granting him the honorable discharge. The Kerry campaign hasn't returned requests for more info on the subject (go figure). Also, read Safire's NYT op-ed this morning. Guess whose name comes up in the oil-for-food scandal. Marc Rich. Yes, that Marc Rich (he of the last minute Clinton pardon). Also named are various US oil companies, and a bunch of French and Russian ministers and officials who all say it wasn't them but other government officials who were bribed and on Saddam's payroll.
