Hooray for Webmaster BRAD!!! Brad is Rad! I was watching the screen, when "POOF!!" the baser instincts of a cowardly person suddenly disappeared.

So don't go looking for the baser instinct post which Penni referred to folks. We all have baser instincts - they provide a driving force, full of appetite, anger, fear and lust [not to mention the need for a good set of spanners and other gadgets], which our intellects keep on a short leash in normal civilized day to day life. A rational person knows this and voluntarily maintains a balance. An irrational one presumes to impose their values and attitudes on others.

Don't be intrigued or puzzled Penni. It seems to me our reptilian components got controlled by thinking so that lots of us could live in harmony - well better harmony anyway. When the barriers to reptilian expression are removed, out come the goblins for a run around. Look at the mayhem when CGB went AWOL for a time - party time! There was even a Taniwha in attendance - a metaphor for our uninhibited baser selves. Hiding behind an alias is another way of letting out the irrational reptile without fear.

Halloween has just been - another lunge into the depths, but only in play.

Maurice
