Thanks for your report, Michelle. Things are heating up.

Think GNET's role in Allen's rapidly growing cable and broadband franchise (a la ATHM/XCIT) will be clear when the Charter (or whatever it will be called) IPO is filed. (This now looks like it's coming late third quarter at the earliest.)

Actually, it would be useful for Vulcan and GNET to start formalizing the groundwork for this era by priming the PR pump early, but I don't think Allen's finished acquiring cable properties. It sure looks like a much bigger acquisition is coming, maybe Cablevision and more. Think that would give Allen a total of at least 9.1mm subscribers. His ambition may be for 20mm+ subscibers.

No reason for him to stop now. When you factor in Allen's 65+ other properties, this thing will be a monster--much more powerful than anyone realizes.
