No, not really. You seem to be arguing a point I didn't make.

Lot's of people are taken off death row during the appeal process, for lot's of reasons. The process of actually executing someone, no matter how bad a criminal, is long and thorough. 15 to 20 years of appeals is not uncommon.

My statement had to do with actual executions and actual proof of innocence for that executed person. Obviously, if the system were executing innocent people, you'd be able to find the name of just one, don't you think?
