Your, "I kind of wondered - are these guys connected to the Internet or are they still working the old fashioned way?"

It amazes me but I don't think that analysts have discovered the Internet. I think their pride is too great to face the reality that often one gets better research from some of the posts on SI, than for the reports that they are putting out and getting paid a half a million dollars for. Of the analysts that I am friendly with, only a few are reading SI. Even then it is sporatic and they claim not to have the time. Lately, with the many unconstructive posts appearing on SI, they may have a point.
