Jim <<7 months of a stagnant share price is a little hard to digest>>

Bottom line , PFE is still up 50% YTD and continues to be influenced by the general market direction..... As a long-term investor, PFE and the market provided great opportunities in October to add to PFE portfolios at discount prices.

In 1999 (only one month away), with the Lipitor, Viagra and Celebrex engines in place, a possible January split announcement, and, hopefully, a Dow over 10,0000, PFE will be in a strong position for continued gains.

Overall, it is very difficult for any PFE investor to be disappointed with the following 5 year PFE record:

................PFE Price..Growth Rate....Comments
12/30/94......... 19.32.......12.0%
12/29/95..........31.50.......63.1% ......2-1 split (6/95)
12/30/96..........41.50.......31.7%
12/31/97..........74.56.......79.7% ......2-1 split (6/30/97)
11/30/98......... 111.94......50.1%.......Viagra approved (3/27/98)

Have PFun!
