Jeff--

Am briefly awake at 5 a.m., my stomach having rather abruptly reversed its earlier favorable judgment on dinner, and so decided to log on for awhile, as for some reason the system's very fast this time of day/night.

Yes, I know who you mean, but he's NOTHING compared to the revolting old buffer who claims Vast Experience and insists on calling everybody "young 'un".

But an interesting episode over there: someone calling himself "david" who just registered today offered an illiterate post claiming that he'd worked briefly for MRV, and had a friend who'd been there longer and was fired. He claimed the "friend" was sueing the company because he'd been "forced" to change sales figures. He was, of course, immediately called upon to furnish more credible information. And then someone posted securities.stanford.edu which is intended as a clearinghouse for class action suits brought by stockholders. Haven't really checked it out, but it's an interesting site, and potentially useful. Someone else then remarked that he'd looked and not found anything at all for MRV, but in all fairness it would seem that the suit alledgedly brought by david's "friend" wouldn't have been a class action.

Anyhow, it's a good one to remember.

Janice
