Google Chrome 120.0.6099.129 patches active exploit

Chrome 120.0.6099.129 has been released as an emergency update to patch Google’s web browser for critical security flaw CVE-2023-7024, which is being actively exploited.
Google fixes 8th Chrome zero-day exploited in attacks this year

Google has released emergency updates to fix another Chrome zero-day vulnerability exploited in the wild, the eighth patched since the start of the year. “Google is aware that an exploit for CVE-2023-7024 exists in the wild,” a security advisory published Wednesday said.

Other Chromium-based browsers, which include Brave, Opera, Arc, Microsoft Edge, and Chromium itself, also will need updates.
