LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 11, 2000--Vertical Computer Systems Inc. (OTC BB: VCSY - news) today
announced that the official launch date of TheWorldBridge.com will be Nov. 15, 2000.
The new site will create a focal point of entry for the Company's growing global network of online Home Country Gateways.
The company is building an international network of multi-lingual portals through which its services, technology and content can be
distributed to businesses, governments and consumers. Vertical Computer Systems Inc.'s products and services, technology and
distribution channels complement each other and are supported by its e-commerce business model, the Home Country Gateways
(HCG). These gateways are developed in selected countries using local partners who provide country-specific expertise, capital
and/or content.
At present, Vertical Computer Systems Inc. has two Home Country Gateways in operation, The China Bridge and The Brazil
Bridge. A third gateway, the US Bridge, is set to launch on Oct. 7, 2000. The Home Country Gateways allow users, through

capture the unique global nature of the Vertical Computer Systems Inc. sites.
With the advent of TheWorldBridge.com, users will be able to enjoy the benefits of seamless transfer from one global gateway to
another. The World Bridge offers web users a search engine written with Vertical Computer Systems Inc.'s proprietary
Emily(TM)Markup Language Executive and a unique set of XML-based software communication tools that enable advanced
platform interoperability.
