Dear billwot: I also use Mobile 1 and sometime Syntex but Amsoil sent me an independent study done by a small school out west (forgot the name) that indicated Amsoil is FAR more protective then either of above. I was shocked. Also, I use Wix oil filters, again I was shocked to see the much higher effeciency and capacity to hold contaminates of the amsoil filter. I figured with all the racers on this thread, someone out there must have first hand experience specifically with amsoil. I agree Synthetics are the only way to go. JDN
