CM,

Nope. No operatives out in SF. Not a big fan of that town. They don't let you jaywalk and whats the deal with hailing a cab out there? Not to mention the jello that is under the marina district. Niners suck too.

I need to circle back to the Orange PLC deal in jolly old England. At first glance I thought CMVT actually displaced Unisys but apparently that is not the case. Maybe going forward they will go head to head on everything. That hardly seems like a fair fight but then again Unisys did win the British Telecom deal.

I don't think they will have anything new to say at the conference. Earnings are fast approaching so maybe we could start a whisper number rumor. Remember last quarter they beat consensus estimates by 5 cents and the quarter before that by 3 cents. Previous to that they always came in a few pennies ahead.

Right now the consensus seems to be (per baseline) 63 cents. In fact, every damn analyst is at 63 cents. Fifteen penguins all lined up on the same number! Looks like the company has trained them well. Guidance with an iron fist.

So how much do we have to beat the number by to keep the stock on an even keel?

Anyone?
