well said for those on the right.

on the other end, there are those who believe that low rates promotes free lending and consumption. witness the crazy use of credit cards and sub-prime loans. the surge in commodities which includes food has been ignored with even higher national debt. it's no longer that our children have to be burdened by our debt, but their grand-children and even further.

of course, this has been the case for well over 3000 years or so longer as written history has it. still, some constrain by those living in abundance is warranted. we are admired and hated at the same time by the majority of the world.
