Michael - I've also read about the automatic execution on orders of 10 or less, however the time-limit of ten seconds seems to rarely happen. On orders greater than 10 contracts the Market Makers may make only partial fills at the quoted price then fill the balance later - at a less advantageous price to you or more so.

The big orders seem to be negotiated separately.

10 contracts or less does give you some advantage over big orders, but OEX moves so fast I don't think it's very signifcant. On stock options however it may be a more significant advantage as the prices move slower.

P.S. I've been watching $BIX (S&P Banking Index) for market direction, support and resistance. For example $BIX started tumbling first thing this morning, but at today's low held fairly close to it's recent low.
