That sounds like a good strategy for playing ASND through the earnings. Did you mean to get out Tuesday (July 15) before the close instead of Wednesday (July 16)? <<Combined second quarter earnings for Ascend and Cascade will be announced after the close of the
financial markets on July 15, 1997.>>

Anyway I like the idea, and plan on taking your advice. There is too much uncertainty with how investors interpret earnings. Even if earnings are good, there is no guarantee that ASND buyers will like them. Just look this week at AMD and CPQ.
