In otherwords, this maybe isn't a 'bear mkt' afterall, the Dow and S&P don't qualify, just Nasdaq,

The Wilshire 5000 closed at 12094 on last Friday...

A 20% decline (which is typically used as a measurement to qualify a "bear" market) from the top in mid March @ 14751.6 would be 11800. Pretty close, and other measurements from more lenient levels allow for plenty of downside in this and other indices before the Fed really decides to ease.

I sincerely doubt there will be any rate cuts next tuesday. The hope for the one that doesn't come next Tues. could quickly turn to real concern...which we all know leads to...
