Hi Jack,

I'm fairly new to options -- I mean I understand all the ins and outs, but never traded. It's always struck me that writing options is dangerous for all the reasons you state, whereas buying them is less risky (given that it's still very risky!). Funny thing is, Schwab won't let me buy options, only write covered calls!!! I tried arguing with them, but so far no go. Glad to see someone else confirm my thoughts!!!!
