>>The last thing I'm going to do tomorrow is buy 100 out-of-the-money OEX puts. I don't know when, but this market is going down big-time.<<

Are those OEX(OEW) August or Sept? OEW Aug 910 Puts had a low of
$1.5 and closed over $3. Everyone is selling KO and heading into the
Autos and heavy machinery it seems.

Yep The market has gotta go sometime. The US$ has strengthen against
the european currencies like the German DM. But no one cares to notice
that yet. Sooner or later someone after selling all their long holdings and gone short will point this out. Similiar to the Yen$
awhile back which hurt earnings, but as usual the Companies beat the
Estimates. The Friggin Lower revised Estimates. I think you get a better deal in Las Vegas.

Now how many strikes have been going on for Higher Wages. GM, UPS are the most notable ones so far. So far the wage increases have been inline with estimates so the increase is said to be small of little importance in this Goldilocks environment. But guess what that still is inflation. Some day the wage increase will be higher than
the estimates. IF the UPS workers get a good raise look for other
companies to raise their prices to account for increased transportation costs.
