You can get boosters for phones that allow digitals to transmit from marginal areas. But the digital cell phone itself will not tranmist from an aircraft, unlike the old analog bag phones which just got better the further up you went. The story of the cell phone transmission has always been considered to be apocryphal and should be tested on similar routes. Did she have some special sort of device? Is the story itself a device to cover the possibility that the plane was shot down in fact?

Only the digital shadow knows.

Now if the plane had crashed on our Moly claims we would have a dandy lawsuit and be able to get some money in the door for a change.
