I initiate trades when I have enough information to have a reasonable expectation that it will unfold as I anticipate.

I have never initiated a trade that I did not expect to be profitable. Many have not been. While I would prefer that the trade unfolds as I expect, I know that this frequently does not occur.

What I hope is that I have the ability to see when things are not unfolding as anticipated and the humility to acknowledge the mistake and cut the loss.

On this journey I have found that it is useful to have a map and a plan. It is also important not to confuse the map with the real world. <gg>
