Gravidity Update
We had a bit of a scare on Sunday. Love Sr. is checking her accessory, and detects... a pulse. slower than hers. The previous ady, the little one had been kicking up a storm, but Sunday - blue screen. So Love (fearing fetal distress) freaks. Anyway,we head on down to the Labor&Delivery facility for a "strip". The monitors go on, and... there it is, a perfectly fine fetal pulse. Turns out what we felt was a new kind of hiccups, quicker&fainter than the gutlurching kind Love felt a coupla months ago.
Today was ObGyn day. Outergirl was 100% effaced and maybe a little dilated. Innergirl was at the zero station. Looks like we'll make the due date (Thursday!), but not a whole lot longer. C'mon out, were, like, ready!
For all my brave talk earlier today re male empathy, this is new territory for your reporter from the Gestation Zone. Spouse-plus is feeling a little...hormonal. I'm sorta minding what I'm saying these days. So please everyone understand if I'm laying the occasional streak of mental rubber on these threads.
