Bob,
This has been a humbling experience or should i say a bumbling one. Even posters who seemed to have all the answers have disappeared from view. I was a broker in the early 70's so i have fears now about repetition of that period. This war on terror has not been decisively won. The deficits are huge. We have nothing to show for that as of yet. If one blows the budget, better come back with a nice new caddy, not a rickety old ford. Dow crossed 1000 in 1968 or so and didnt cross it again until 1984 or so. 16 years--thats why 401ks offer nothing compared to that old GM pension. mike
