Well I don't think the shareholders will have much choice since Fairfax, the Washington Family and David Sokol , who together hold approximately 65% of outstanding Seaspan common shares, have indicated they intend to vote their shares in favour of the Proposed Reorganization.

I think you might be correct on your assessment. Maybe there is a synergy that has yet to reveal itself. Hopefully someone will bring up your concerns in the conference that starts today. APR was acquired by Fairfax Financial in 2016.
