Peso strongest currency?...it probably won't be for long....

"The Mexican peso continues to be a good performer in 2005 VS the dollar... You know my thoughts on the peso... Think about this... The dollar has rallied so far this year right? And in the years 2000-2001, when the dollar was ending it's strong dollar trend, the Mexican peso was the best performing currency VS the dollar... Do you see what I see? I would be very careful with pesos... The interest rate risk premium still isn't where I would want to see it to buy pesos... And when the dollar turns around and goes back down, as I expect it to, the peso would be on tenterhooks... However, as long as the dollar is in the driver's seat, the pesos is doing fine, and bringing home the bacon!"
