I still believe that Dr J must have been adivsed to to do this in order to keep the stock price within reason. Microsoft 101. Beat estimate by a tad bit every quarter. Say something to downplay how great you're doing. And do this quarter after quarter after quarter... This is a superbly managed company. Probably will be studied as "the perfect company" years from now.
