Sideline money and short covering. The rate cut yesterday has apparently started changing the tune from don't want to get burned, to don't want to miss the boat. Apparently the low inflation figures coupled with the Fed maintaining and easing bias has has provided a new comfort level that the economy will rebound. At least that was Art Cashin's theory. regards, Steve
