SKINS looked horrible! Maybe we should give Sean Gilbert his $5 million per season in order to shore up that defensive line! If only we knew it wouldn't take him the rest of the season to get in shape! Frerotte has never had a more eratic start in his short 3 years in the league, but once he settles down and gets some protection he will dramatically improve. The NFC East is totally up for grabs now and would seem to be the most interesting divisional battles of the whole NFL!

Ken, your Eagles are a very dangerous team that will give anybody fits down the road, but why is it that they have always come up short in post season play? I never liked Cunningham and Philly fans (no class...), but since this is a new era (I like Ray Rhodes!) and I now have a girlfriend (who I intend to marry, but thankfully never got into the Eagles!) from the "City of Brotherly Love", I thought I might throw all that anymosity out the window. Especially since they have been playing excellent football against the SKINS for the past few years! Hell, if you make it to DC for the last game of the year, I might even be able to hook you up with a couple of club seats at "The Big Jack" (disclaimer-as long as all of Starpoppers investments return 100%+ from date of offer, until date of said game...:).

To All: Do you guys think we are going to see more and more sports teams going public like Green Bay? Especially if they own the stadium complexes they play in, and have excellent marketing potential outside of home areas. I hate to say this but after buying Redskins Stock I would probably actually buy some...gulp...Dallas stock! What other teams are public in the NFL and NBA, and is this a viable source of additional funds to further push salaries to incredibly rediculously astronomical unjustified heights?! I mean come on...$125,000,000 over 7 years to PLAY BASKETBALL...or $25,000 per year to train the next generation of Americans in school...Please!
