Hi YYB,

I'm not fond of ignoring people, but I was asked neither to address Jim nor talk about him, and I'm going to abide by that. I can only hope he'll do the same.

On the topic of childhood abuse and how it effects one's personality and worldview as an adult, I try to keep in mind that, while those of us who were abused as children had no control over those awful events, we have the rest of our lives to try to distance ourselves from that ugliness. We'll never change what happened to us, but we can live differently.

Thanks to you and the others who have no tolerance for bullies.
