Had the initial accusations (against you) turned out to be baseless, it would be easier for me to see your point. Since you at one time asked for a chance to redeem yourself (at the time the opportunity for apologies had slipped away) it seems that now when the opportunity to reconcile amicably has been offered......well, this is where I get confused.
