GURUMAN, I saw the press release concerning this issue. Didn't you inquire about this a while back? It's good to see this news. excerpt from article: Sony's PDP uses PALC (plasma-addressed liquid crystal) technology developed by Tektronix Inc (TEK) of the United States. I don't know the details of the licensing agreement, but I would hope Tek receives a lump sum from each company plus a percetage of all sales. This could amount to substantial amounts of money, hopefully into the tens and hundreds of millions in the future. I remember that there is a competitive technology to that of Tek's, so the real key will be to win that battle. I haven't seen much info on this subject, but this press release should spark much interest. I do not follow the display market too closely. Jay
