First of all let me state that when talking with a company about their stock, they just can't say a whole lot. Someday I'll call and the investor relations rep. will say "Hey, good thing you called, I just found out we signed a major contract with the US Goverment to sell everyone school kid a card and was just typing up the press release, you have about an hour to call your broker !!!!" The following is just my impression and I left my notes at the office.

I called NINE today. I talked with investor relations and they have been selling to Dell again and fairly significant amounts this quarter. I can't remember the exact $'s but 13 to 18 Million sticks in my mind. Their new "128" card is out ahead of schedule, they didn't predict any sales first quarter, but did get some out the door. I asked about Micron and the response lead me to believe they have not shipped any quanity of cards. They have been shipping "low end cards" and NINE's presense should increase in the retail market.

I asked about the inventory problems and was informed these were "mostly" cleared. My impression is that there may still be a lingering problem (the "mostly" part). General statement was that this quarter should be a lot better than last.

My personal impression was "positive" while we were talking.

I think I'll pick up a few more shares at 5-1/4 or less, I just think this company will make it in the long run.
