NXR has operations in California and Venezuela.
The former is known as the Franklin Lake project. Franklin Lake is a 3,500 acre playa (dry lake bed) which has been there for millions of years and has accumulated gold, silver and platinum group metals. They are test drilling and reporting Au at about .25oz/ton plus some Ag, Pt, Ir, Os, Pd, Rh and Ru. If this level can be proved across the playa the potential reserves could exceed 150 million ounces Au (compare this to BRE-X 30 M ozs) - forget the other metals. They are also looking to be listed on the Nasdaq. Currently seeking to close a private placement of 2M shares at US$5 with Allen and Co New York. This will give operating cash to expand pilot plant. If Allen complete due diligence and buy in this would suggest strong support at US$5 (CAD$ 6.5 to 7).
