Ramsy,
No intrusion at all.

This thread is to bring tech analysis into play when deciding to invest. Hopefully to improve your execution. How do you quantify fundamental news or a press release. You are right, alot of very positive press releases have had no impact on AAPL. The neg press is taking frontline. I think sellers are concerned. (rightfully)

From S+P yesterday:
AAPL's senior debt was cut three ratings.
AAPL comercial paper was cut from C to BB-.
"AAPL is likely to continue to post losses for the rest of 1996" and "has uncertain longer-term prospects" The rating agency also questioned whether the Cupertino, Calif-based maker of the Macintosh PC line can surmount financial and management problems"

Many money managers will not be allowed to own AAPL with this rating. All will sell.
I am not sure how long they have after the down grade. If you knew someone is going to sell to you bid up the price?

It is my belief that buying and selling is not that discriminate by institutions. Like the politicians, it is easy for them to spend other peoples money. (or loose it in this case)

Good trading
