Hi Ron,
That's quite interesting. I watched the statue-toppling on CNN and was aware that the square was ringed by US tanks and military personnel. I saw a couple of Iraqi men climb the statue and motion for help. I knew that it was the US military who provided the tank power to pull it down. All these things were visible on CNN, but you're right about still photos not showing the bigger picture.

I wish the statue had been taken down without the help of the US military, frankly. It would have been a more meaningful event, IMO.

The second sstory was fascinating. Would you explain the implications of it to us? Is this evidence of the planting of pro-coalition Iraqis for the purpose of satisying the US and British media?
